Throughout my time at the Northern Iowan I’ve had the opportunity to write about a lot of things across campus. Although I’m not the best at writing it’s been a fun experience. I also have to give a big thank you to our copy editors – Erin Kamp & Sophie Hoffmeier and our news editor – Caroline Christensen. They are more qualified than I am, and give helpful feedback on things that I write.
I enjoy writing for the Northern Iowan because I get to hear about so many amazing things on campus! I also don’t get to write a lot in my classes so it’s nice to have some experience in writing – especially in AP style.

Managing Editor bids adieu after two and half years with the NI

My time at the Northern Iowan has been amazing. I truly feel like I got to be on the sidelines of history here at UNI.
Traditions Keepers Ceremony

As another semester ends and students leave campus, some graduating students will be initiated as Tradition Keepers of UNI. Each semester students can complete the traditions challenge, which includes going to events on campus, like men’s basketball games, campaniling and attending Grad Fest.
