My Portfolio

My name is Karla, and I’m a graphic designer & marketer. I’ve worked in a news room that taught me tight deadlines, how to maintain a professional website, and how to write. I’ve worked in a furniture store in product photography. There I learned how to edit photos, conduct sales data and wrote blogs.

I’m a hard worker and very loyal. My priority is always for the consumer, I have them in mind when creating. I think the most important thing is how things are interpreted.

I’m always looking for new opportunities and willing to try new things. We can always be learning new skills and taking risks. So, take a risk on me, let’s connect!

Etsy Site. I started a reused candle Etsy store this year. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I love candles! I’d always keep mine because they were pretty or I just didn’t want to throw them away. I started reusing them and selling to my friends. So in March I started an Etsy shop to sell them and to start a reusable community!

I made a Smokey Row Fall Lookbook highlighting our seasonal drinks. This work-in-progress magazine has been a passion project of mine, so i’m excited to share! I’m still editing photos and making it perfect, so please bare with me as I finish.

Some latest doodles for a friend who loved her pup, birdie.

City View Magazine Ad

City View did a Coffeehouse Classic asking the readers to vote for their favorite local coffee shop. I made this ad for them to print in the November, December & January issues.
