I have been attending Keystone church in Ankeny since November of 2022. I started volunteering for the photography team right away and enjoyed taking photos for various Sunday events. This included child dedication, vacation bible school, and many more.

In May 2024, I started making the sermon slides. The pastor preaching that week will send there notes and what they want on each slide. Then I put them into InDesign and make them into a slideshow. I volunteer for this position about twice a month. There are guidelines for each slide. Sometimes there are special series that will change our guidelines and it’s fun to see what there graphic designer creates.

I had the opportunity to create a kids Easter pamphlet. They sent content what they wanted and I took there ‘Keystone Kids’ guidelines and made a pamphlet. They wanted it to be interactive for the kids and for them to ask questions about Easter and Jesus.
