Love + Gelato. Venice + Verona

This was the start of the trip! I went on a guided tour through EF Ultimate Break! The trip was December 2024, and it featured Christmas markets.

We started in Venice and got a guided tour of the city. We ate lots of pizza and gelato. We did a lot of walking and took a boat tour.

The first night we started with a welcome dinner, then a small group went into venice to explore! We wanted to find a Christmas market, only to realize it wasn’t open yet. But it was still a fun adventure!

The next day we started out taking a boat ride from the main land into the city. We then learned from a local about the history of the city! We saw St. Marks Cathedral and many, many canals. We got a private demonstration of glass blowing. Where I bought my mom a dragonfly pin!

We then got to walk around on our free time, so we went to see the famous Rialto bridge. We went to the oldest library where we saw a cute black cat. We enjoyed some Italian pasta – fettuccine alfredo. We then rode back to the main land on the boat.

Verona

After 2 days in Venice we started the drive to Austria! But first, Verona. We explored the city for a few hours. First, we saw Juliets Balcony, then we looked at the colosseum that was there. I also enjoyed a Cafe Affogato, which is something I was looking forward to! We then drove to Innsbruck.
