Beer + Gluhwein
After leaving Austria we headed to Munich! We started a rainy day with a tour learning about the history of Germany.
We started at Marienplatz and learned so much! We enjoyed some spaetzle and gluhwein. I got some really cute mugs! I also enjoyed what I call a log, which I got sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. We also went to a classic beer house, where I got pizza.
The next day we went out on our own and saw the only place in Germany where you can surf! This was a weird effect of a pipe that is under a river in the city and it creates the perfect wave. We found some more Christmas markets and went up St. Peters Church tower.
We then got to experience Krampus again! We really didn’t enjoy this Krampus as much as we did in Salzburg. It was a lot busier and not as fun/scary! After that we just explored more of the markets and went home.
