Krampus 4 Prez
This was my favorite country of the trip! We came into Innsbruck at night. We got to see the sunset over the city. We got a quick tour then got to explore!
The first thing we did was climb up a tour and get a fantastic view of the city. We could see the famous colorful houses. We also saw our first Christmas market of the trip!
We then got some gluhwein, the first of many! We also enjoyed some raclette over pretzels. It was a very magical experience. We were eating and drinking while a band serenaded us from the balcony of house.
We then got back on the bus and travelled to Salzburg.
Salzburg
Salzburg was my favorite city on the trip! I just really loved the entire time I was there. We started off with a tour of Salzburg, learning about some filming of ‘The Sound of Music’ and the birthplace of Mozart. We then got to go on our own. I was really excited to see the Hohensalzburg Fortress. This was just a cool experience to see. We then walked around more of the city. while waiting for something extra special – Krampus. He became our favorite thing on the trip! I currently have a group chat with some friends on the trip called ‘Krampus 4 president.’
We then went to a brewery which was… an experience to say the least. The food was amazing and it was definitely a good time! We then went back to the fortress and ended the night in the most beautiful room we had seen. The room had a band playing Christmas music, we sipped gluhwein and enjoyed the atmosphere.
